Convocation 2026
The Ascension Alliance is announcing it first in-person Convocation since the pandemic. In 2026, we will be at Blisstopia, in Peoria, AZ. Convocation begins on Friday evening, September 25, 4PM Pacific, and ends Monday, September 28 at about 11AM, Pacific. Opening ceremonies, Friday evening. Mass and two workshop sessions on Saturday. Mass and two workshop sessions on Sunday. Closing ceremonies on Monday morning.
The Ascension Alliance is an inclusive Independent Catholic jurisdiction, or micro-denomination, not part of the Roman Catholic Church. Indeed, it is part of an emerging independent sacramental movement that is growing in the U.S. and across the world. In our part of the movement we tend to be "inclusive," which means, for example, that we ordain men and women, single and married, straight and queer.
Two full scholarships will be available: the Ascension Alliance Scholarship and the Bishop Marian Kelley Memorial Scholarship.
