Convocation 2022
The Ascension Alliance is announcing perhaps its last Zoom Convocation since the pandemic. In 2023, we will again be on Zoom. This year, Convocation begins on Friday evening, July 21, 7PM Pacific, and ends Monday, July 24 at about 11AM, Pacific. Opening ceremonies, Friday evening. Mass and two workshop sessions on Saturday. Mass and two workshop sessions on Sunday. Closing ceremonies on Monday morning.
The Ascension Alliance is an Independent Catholic jurisdiction, or micro-denomination, not part of the Roman Catholic Church. Indeed, it is part of an emerging Independent Catholic movement that is growing in the U.S. and across the world. In our part of the movement we tend to be "inclusive," which means, for example, that we ordain men and women, single and married, straight and queer.
If there are any of you that would like to attend our Convocation but cannot afford it, we do not want money to be an impediment. In this event, simply register for Convocation and to NOT hit the "Donate" button on our website (ascensionalliance.org). The registration form is at the bottom of the flyer (see Facebook).
